I typically start my day with a warm-up before hitting for about two to three hours. After I hit, I do my off-court training, which consists of strength and conditioning, cardio, and then treatment.”

Since Naomi works out so much, she has to make time for her body to recover. She shared her favorite ways of doing so in her interview with The Cut. “It’s really important that I take care of myself post-training, so stretching, working with a massage therapist, and just making sure I do whatever I can for post-care.”

Naomi has been open about her struggles with mental health. One thing she likes to do is practice meditation. “As someone who suffers from anxiety, I do my best to find time for my meditation practice,” Naomi tells The Cut. “Even if it’s just for five minutes at the beginning or end of a day. It’s really calming. In addition to some ice, I add in BODYARMOR LYTE Coconut for some extra vitamins and antioxidants.”

After working out, Naomi makes a smoothie with more vegetables in it. She shared her favorite recipe with Us Weekly. “After my workouts, I’ll make a recovery smoothie that has more vegetables instead of fruits,” she explained. “I’ll use spinach as my base, and then add in cucumbers, lemon, protein powder and BODYARMOR LYTE Coconut, plus apples and pineapples sometimes for some extra sweetness. I’ll add in a flavor spice like ginger sometimes too.”

Naomi Osaka is one of the best tennis players out there.
