Although they do not yet have a commitment from anyone in the class, the Cats are trending for several high-profile players.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">We can now seemingly remove one name from that list.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">According to a report by Jacob Polacheck of KSR, 5-star wing Qayden Samuels is no longer expected to take a visit to Lexington.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201dI don\u2019t think we will be taking a visit there,\u201d his mother told Polacheck.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Samuels, a 6-foot-6 and 200-pound forward out of District Heights (MD), received an offer from Kentucky back on June 23rd. He also holds offers from UConn, Tennessee, Alabama, Kansas, North Carolina, and several others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Considered a top-20 prospect in the 2026 class by the 247 Sports Composite rankings, it now appears that the Cats and Samuels may be going in different directions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Could this be another sign that Kentucky is in good shape with fellow 5-star wing Tyran Stokes?
