Fox News interrupted its regular programming with a breaking news alert on Monday as President Donald Trump<\/a> delivered a stern warning regarding Russia<\/a>‘s ongoing conflict in Ukraine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

From the White House, Trump expressed his deep dissatisfaction with Russia<\/a> and his disappointment in President Vladimir Putin<\/a>. He cautioned that if a ceasefire agreement with Ukraine<\/a> is not established within 50 days, the United States will enforce “very severe” secondary tariffs of 100%.<\/a><\/p>\n

Trump also announced that a substantial amount of US military equipment would be shipped to Ukraine<\/a> as part of an intensified response to Russian hostility. “We’re going to be doing very severe tariffs if we don’t have a deal in 50 days,” Trump asserted.<\/a><\/p>\n

He emphasized the urgency by stating, “It’s all talk until missiles go into Kyiv,” and insisted that the conflict “has got to stop.” This declaration was made amid a high-stakes meeting with Nato Secretary General Mark Rutte at the White House.<\/p>\n

“I’m disappointed in President Putin, because I thought we would have had a deal two months ago, but it doesn’t seem to get there,” Trump conveyed to the press.<\/p>\n

He elaborated that the participating nations would send their own Patriot systems to Ukraine<\/a> and the US would provide those countries with replacements.<\/p>\n

Rutte underscored the breadth of the operation, stating the deal encompassed “missiles, ammunition” and more.<\/p>\n

Trump also mentioned his previous attempts to broker progress with Putin, saying, “I felt he had a deal with Russia<\/a> on the Ukraine<\/a> war about four times. And here we are still talking.”<\/p>\n

He continued, “I thought we should have had a deal done a long time ago, but it just keeps going on and on and on.”<\/p>\n

Trump acknowledged the human cost of the conflict, noting “a lot of Russian soldiers and Ukrainians are dying.”<\/p>\n

“Ukrainians continue to fight with tremendous courage,” he said, while admitting that they are quickly depleting their equipment.<\/p>\n

Nato’s Rutte echoed this sentiment, denouncing Russia<\/a> for its bombing of civilian cities, asserting these attacks were not aimed at “military goals” but rather to incite “panic.”<\/p>\n
