Bradley announced his captain\u2019s picks on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"BRXO7QTGK5EFFBZOTX3TYWC3TA\">Thomas was seventh in the U.S. Ryder Cup standings. The automatic qualifiers were Scottie Scheffler, J.J. Spaun, Xander Schauffele, Russell Henley, Harris English and Bryson DeChambeau. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"G7JFQL7TOVERVM4C3IT272OR4M\">Joining Thomas as captain\u2019s picks were Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, Cameron Young, Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"DLKJJ55CZNGOBOYZVNIFSYI3UU\">The biennial men\u2019s golf competition between teams from the United States and Europe will be contested on Sept. 26-28 on the Black Course at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"57WAV7VWC5E3TEXLFI4ZPWGVDI\">The competition consists of 28 matches \u2013 four alternate-shot and four better-ball matches between two-man teams on Friday and Saturday and 12 singles matches on Sunday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"FH6I6GCPMJFH7H7J3DJWLMS3MA\">Thomas has a 3-0 singles record in the Ryder Cup, and he\u2019s 7-4-1 in all matches. In eight of his nine alternate-shot and better-ball matches, he has been paired with Jordan Spieth, who is not a member of this year\u2019s U.S. team.
