NORTON \u2014 Three Massachusetts natives will play in the second annual FM Championship<\/a> at TPC Boston this week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rockland\u2019s Megan Khang<\/a>, Westborough\u2019s Alexa Pano<\/a> and Shrewsbury\u2019s Brittany Altomare will all be teeing off on Thursday. <\/p>\n

Khang, an FM ambassador, finished 35th in last year\u2019s tournament, while Pano missed the cut after Round 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Altomare didn\u2019t compete in 2024 after giving birth to her son, Wyatt, in March. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was sad to miss the first year last year, but I\u2019m really excited to play this year and to see a bunch of family and friends and to play in front of a home crowd,\u201d she told Golf Week<\/a>. \u201cSo it should be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Khang, she\u2019s looking forward to returning to her home state, but is hopeful to have a better tournament than in 2024 when she finished 35th. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think the first season was the scariest. You never know what to expect,\u201d Khang told MassLive. \u201cI hope to do well, hope. to raise the trophy at the end of the week.\u201d<\/p>\n

The FM Championship will run from Aug. 28-31 with a purse of $4.1 million, up from $3.8 million in 2024. <\/p>\n
