Artificial intelligence (AI)<\/a> is no longer a futuristic concept \u2014 it’s here. From chatbots that perform daily tasks<\/a> to large algorithms capable of translating a person’s thoughts into text<\/a>, AI is increasingly touching nearly every aspect of our lives.<\/p>\n

AI is also being used in health and medical research<\/a>, in space exploration<\/a> and is even helping predict extreme weather events<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

But AI can also go rogue<\/a>, tell people to drink glue and make chlorine gas<\/a> and influence teenagers’ behavior in surprising and sinister ways<\/a>. That raises the question: Can we really trust AI? Take our poll below, leave a comment, and let us know where you stand.<\/p>\n
