Nicolas Jackson now looks set to depart Chelsea on loan in the final days of the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n

Even though Nicolas Jackson<\/a> has scored 30 goals in 81 appearances across two seasons at Chelsea<\/a>, he\u2019s always had question marks around his name. Therefore, it\u2019s perhaps no surprise that the striker has been replaced by both Joao Pedro and Liam Delap at Stamford Bridge this summer.<\/p>\n

Blues head coach Enzo Maresca admitted Jackson could depart<\/a> after leaving him out of his squads at the start of the new season.<\/p>\n

Now, it looks like the 24-year-old attacker is on the verge of joining a new club.<\/p>\n

Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims via X that Bayern Munich have now agreed a deal to sign Chelsea\u2019s Jackson on loan. In fact, he used his famous \u2018here we go\u2019 tagline to indicate the transfer is definitely happening.<\/p>\n

The German champions will pay a huge \u20ac15m (\u00a313m) loan fee to take the centre-forward for the 2025\/26 season. Apparently, the deal also includes an option to buy him next summer for \u20ac80m (\u00a369m).<\/p>\n

Jackson is now expected to fly out and complete his move to the Bundesliga.<\/p>\n

Jackson\u2019s agent has pushed a move to Bayern or Newcastle United<\/a> this summer, so it looks like all parties will be happy with this imminent deal.<\/p>\n

At Bayern, Jackson will get the chance to try and thrive in Vincent Kompany\u2019s side. The reality is we expect him to provide support for world-class striker Harry Kane, but it\u2019s worth noting that the Chelsea attacker does have the versatility to play off the left if needed.<\/p>\n

Yet again, Chelsea have proven with the Jackson deal that they are shrewd operators in the transfer market, both in terms of signing and selling players.<\/p>\n

The Blues paid roughly \u00a332m (The Guardian<\/a>) to sign Jackson from Villarreal two years ago. Now, they are sending him on a season-long loan to Bayern, which will bring in over a third of his original transfer cost.<\/p>\n

We expect Jackson to be a hit in Bayern colours, exploiting the high line that a lot of Bundesliga teams deploy, so we won\u2019t be surprised if Kompany\u2019s side opt to buy him permanently for nearly \u00a370m next summer.<\/p>\n

Bayern will look very strong now that Kane, 32, has proper support in attack.<\/p>\n
