Hulu<\/a>\u2019s Untitled Pizza Movie, produced by American High<\/a>, has rounded out its call sheet with the addition of American High Digital cast Ryan Micho, Aidan Micho, Pete Flack, Hyde Healy, Tommy Armstrong, Luke Burke, Cheslea Matkins and Lydia Hynes. American High Digital, the short-form comedy arm of the company, is a talent incubator for emerging stars via its social platforms.<\/p>\n

\n\tThey join previously announced cast Gaten Matarazzo (\u201cStranger Things\u201d), Sean Giambrone (\u201cThe Goldbergs\u201d), Lulu Wilson, Jack Martin, Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Marcus Scribner, Caleb Hearon, Sarah Sherman, Justin Cooley, Kevin Matthew Reyes, Adam Herschman and Lucas Zelnick.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film follows two college freshmen, Jack (Matarazzo) and Montgomery (Giambrone), on a hallucinogenic odyssey through their dorm \u2014 dodging overzealous RAs and tripping their way floor by floor, only to retrieve a pizza from the lobby two floors away. Fueled by a drug cocktail, the journey forces them to confront their strained friendship and a series of very dumb decisions.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOur cast aren\u2019t just content creators; they\u2019re screenwriters, stand-up comedians, actors, and more. That\u2019s what makes them unique. The Pizza Movie will further demonstrate how they elevate everything they touch,\u201d says Axelle Azoulay, Head of American High Digital.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmerican High has four channels across social platforms under its helm: @americanhighshorts, @collegelife, @barelyadult and @unhireables. Inspired by the legendary John-Hughes style of films, the brand\u2019s coming-of-age comedic content has amassed nearly 10 million followers and 8 billion views since its inception only 2 years ago.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film is produced by American High and is part of the studio\u2019s ongoing slate deal with Hulu. The stoner comedy comes from Brian McElhaney and Nick Kocher, best known as the viral comedy duo BriTANick<\/a>, marking their feature directorial debut. The pair also penned the script for the film, which is produced by American High\u2019s Jeremy Garelick and Will Phelps, alongside Billy Rosenberg, Jason Zaro, Molle Debartolo and Max A. Butler. Axelle Azoulay and Matt Sacca serve as associate producers.<\/p>\n

\n\tThis marks American High\u2019s first college-set feature, expanding the brand\u2019s signature focus beyond high school comedies. The move comes on the heels of the success of \u201cCollege Life,\u201d American High\u2019s hit digital series, part of its growing digital network. The film will also mark the 12th and 13th first-time directors American High has collaborated with, continuing its mission to spotlight bold new voices in comedy. The project follows the recent success of American High\u2019s \u201cSummer of 69,\u201d which premiered at SXSW and on Hulu earlier this year.<\/p>\n
