A Delaware utilities worker rescued an injured great horned owl and transported it to the Ohio Wildlife Center for care.<\/p>\n
DELAWARE, Ohio \u2014 A routine inspection turned into a rescue mission when a City of Delaware Public Utilities employee spotted an injured great horned owl in a field.<\/p>\n
While inspecting sewage lift stations, team member Andy Adkins noticed the bird and acted quickly to help.<\/p>\n
He was able to safely capture the owl and transport it to the Ohio Wildlife Center Hospital, where staff are now providing care.<\/p>\n
