Kelly Ripa isn\u2019t shy about dishing on her and Mark Consuelos\u2018 spicy love life, but there\u2019s one thing she just isn\u2019t interested in \u2013 morning sex!<\/p>\n

On the Tuesday, July 15, installment of Amanda Hirsch\u2019s Not Skinny But Not Fat<\/a>\u00a0podcast, Ripa, 54, admitted that she found intimacy first thing in the morning to be \u201cdisgusting\u201d as she lamented that her husband \u201conly\u201d wants to do it at that time.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019ll never learn. He\u2019s a guy,\u201d she teased.<\/p>\n

Consuelos, 54, also isn\u2019t bothered by kissing her with morning breath \u2013 another thing that Ripa isn\u2019t the biggest fan of.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out. And he\u2019s got his nasal strips on,\u201d she explained. \u201cIt\u2019s like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people].\u201d<\/p>\n

The mother of three quipped that just talking about it made her \u201cpre-disgusted for tomorrow morning.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noting the difference in their preferences, the Live With Kelly and Mark cohost shared that she\u2019d previously approached her husband about finding more of a balance between their individual needs.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said to him, \u2018Here\u2019s the thing. There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can\u2019t always be your way. \u2018Cause it feels like 90 percent of the time it\u2019s your way. And now that we work together every day, it\u2019s gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way\u2019s at night only,\u2019\u201d she recalled to Hirsch.<\/p>\n

Despite her jokes about their opposite desires when it comes to their love life, Ripa clarified that they still try to prioritize that part of their nearly 30-year marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like exercise. The more you do it, the more you do it,\u201d she added. \u201cYou just have to do it, and then you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh! I remember why I like this.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

This is far from the first time that Ripa has gotten candid about her sex life with the All My Children alum. During a September 2022 appearance<\/a> on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Ripa confessed they\u2019d done the deed in a public bathroom, on a television show set, and most surprisingly, at the Bravo exec\u2019s home in Fire Island, New York.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a rental house,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cI figured I wasn\u2019t desecrating anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two years prior, she reflected on their sex life in a separate SiriusXM interview<\/a> with Cohen, noting that she and Consuelos \u201cfound each other at the right time\u201d in their lives.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were really pliable to each other.
