Travis Kelce<\/a> and Taylor Swift<\/a> announced their engagement more than a week ago, and the excitement has yet to wear off for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.<\/p>\n

On this week\u2019s episode of the \u201cNew Heights<\/a>\u201d podcast, Kelce described to his brother Jason<\/a> how it feels to introduce the pop music superstar as his fianc\u00e9e. <\/p>\n

\u201cI still get giddy,\u201d Kelce said. \u201cI love it. It\u2019s exciting times.\u201d<\/p>\n

The brothers opened the show with Kelce\u2019s first public comments on his upcoming nuptials since he and Swift made the announcement<\/a> on Aug. 26 with a joint Instagram post<\/a>. That post has received more than 36 million likes and has been reposted more than any other Instagram post, passing the 1-million mark in its first six hours.<\/p>\n

\u201cI appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something, and all the posts, and all the excitement that\u2019s been going on,\u201d Kelce said. \u201cIt\u2019s been really fun telling everybody who I\u2019m going to be spending the rest of my life with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just days after the announcement, the couple attended a college football game<\/a> between Cincinnati (the Kelce brothers\u2019 alma mater) and Nebraska at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs\u2019 home field. While much of the public was thrilled to see Swift\u2019s massive engagement ring out and about for the first time, Kelce said it was another first that made the occasion special to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cActually, it was my first time introducing Taylor as my fianc\u00e9e to a few of my teammates,\u201d Kelce said. \u201cSo, yeah, it was pretty cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce provided no insight into any wedding plans, though, telling his brother at one point, \u201cWe\u2019re gonna see how it all shakes out.\u201d <\/p>\n

Both the groom and bride would seem to have plenty on their plates in upcoming months, with the Chiefs starting the 2025 season Friday against the Chargers<\/a> in S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil, and Swift releasing a new album, \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl,\u201d<\/a> on Oct. 3.<\/p>\n
