It seems the authors lump physicians inside their broader mention of \u201cproviders\u201d or \u201cstrained workers.\u201d This is a telling oversight from health care executives. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph | gutter_20_0\">Policy makers should take heed: Ask almost any patient what is needed most desperately. Their answer: Appointments with doctors. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph | gutter_20_0\">Dr. J.C.
