There are a few Cockatoos on TikTok who have captured the hearts of people from all over the world, and Cumulus is definitely one of them. Found at @fixchix, he goes to work with his mom, who works at a vet’s office, and entertains everyone there on a daily basis \u2014\u00a0both patients and the other employees.<\/p>\n
But this new adorable footage of Cumulus the Cockatoo shows him at home, engaging in his nightly routine, which of course includes singing and dancing.<\/p>\n
Cumulus’ mom shared this video of her talented bird on Tuesday, September 2, and this flock call may be his best yet (and definitely one of his longest).<\/p>\n
“He put his all into tonight\u2019s flock call!” she wrote in her caption.<\/p>\n
Cumulus’ many fans seem to agree, according to the comments on the video.<\/p>\n
“He definitely was an singer\/ entertainer in his past life,” one person wrote. “My god he’s on fire today!”<\/p>\n
Another commenter added, “What a beautiful goodnight song!”<\/p>\n

One is a “contact call,” or a flock call, like what Cumulus was doing in the video above, that Cockatoos and other birds will use to find the other members of their flock.<\/p>\n The other call is an “alarm call,” which you’ll hear if your bird is in distress or if they think danger is imminent (think dogs barking when they see the mail truck).<\/p>\n If you’d like to train your bird to scream a little less, try not giving them any attention when they’re vocalizing.
