If you\u2019re not able to get a pastel-colored little monster called Labubu, maybe it\u2019s for the better \u2014 you won\u2019t have the girls at South Park Elementary beating you up. They\u2019re ruthless! South Park<\/a> has found its next subject, and this week, it\u2019s Labubus. Now, if you\u2019re not chronically online or haven\u2019t had to buy a gift for a child recently, Labubus<\/a> are vinyl, fuzzy figures sold at Pop Mart, a Beijing toy company, and they are the hottest accessory to any purse or star tennis player<\/a>. It\u2019s basically the new Stanley cup<\/a> \u2014 adults and kids alike are obsessed with them, and for kids especially, they\u2019ve become a status symbol on the playground.<\/p>\n After taking on real-life supervillains\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>, J.D. Vance, and\u00a0Kristi Noem<\/a>\u00a0in past episodes,\u00a0South Park\u00a0might be challenging the most vociferous group yet: people who love collecting little trinkets. The episode aired on Wednesday, September 3, at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central and is available to stream on Paramount+. But if you\u2019re one of the people who only tunes into the show because you like seeing Trey Parker and Matt Stone poke fun at Trump, don\u2019t fret. Labubus aren\u2019t the only devilish little creatures in the episode. Satan is still around,\u00a0and now he\u2019s pregnant with the president\u2019s spawn. Which is scarier \u2014 the face of a Labubu or the face of Trump\u2019s boo?<\/p>\n The episode is split into two main story lines. In the first, girls at South Park Elementary are obsessed with Labubus, which are sold at the Asian pop-up store (formerly the City Wok restaurant, but \u201cWok is dead\u201d). Because of Trump\u2019s tariffs, the price keeps going up: \u201cHey, it\u2019s not me, it\u2019s your government \u2014 I don\u2019t get fucked by tariffs, you get fucked by tariffs,\u201d the store owner explains through a heavy Chinese accent. Add in the fact that Labubus are sold in blind boxes where you don\u2019t know which doll you\u2019ll get, and it\u2019s no surprise that Butters burns through a lot of money to try and get the specific doll that Red wants for her birthday. It\u2019s a rare Labubu, which to the dismay of school counselor Jesus, means that she\u2019s going to follow a TikTok trend and perform a satanic ritual with it.<\/p>\n In the second story line, the media incessantly theorizes that \u201cDonald Trump is fucking Satan,\u201d despite the president\u2019s insistence that they\u2019re just hanging out as platonic bros. But after the demonic Labubu ritual summons Trump and Satan to Red\u2019s birthday party, Jesus confronts Satan live on Fox News. The devil finally confirms that he and Trump are in a relationship \u2014\u00a0but also reveals a secret that he\u2019s been hiding up his butt: He\u2019s pregnant with Trump\u2019s baby, which he will apparently give birth to through his anus. As a satisfied Trump smirks by his side, Satan explains that he can\u2019t break up with the president because of the unborn child. Naturally, Kid Rock is one of the first to react joyfully to the confirmation of the couple on Fox.<\/p>\n The episode ends with Jesus banning Labubus from school premises, though the butt baby might leave a more lasting impression than any of the commentary on the adverse effects of tariffs and TikTok.<\/p>\n Just like in real life<\/a>, the kids (and probably adults) of South Park are beating each other up over the demon dolls<\/a> called Labubus. \u201cYou guys, girls with Labubus! It\u2019s about to happen again!\u201d Cartman announces in the hallway before they cut to a girl with two Labubus<\/a> (Loyalty and Ququ) getting slammed by a locker door. Another girl complains to confused Jesus that people are calling her Labubus knockoffs (formally known as Lafufus<\/a>). And where there are demon allegations, there\u2019s a cameo from Trump and his boyfriend, Satan.
