The iPhone 16 Plus starts at $899, so the new price tag would be around $999.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Jefferies analysts are predicting a $50 price increase \u2014 a 4% to 5% jump from 2024 \u2014 to offset the impact of tariffs, they wrote in a July note. The adjustment would likely not affect the base model. It would hit the Pro, the larger Pro Max, and the rumored slimmer iPhone model,<\/a> Jefferies said.<\/p>\n Apple didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.<\/p>\n One possible reason for a price hike\u00a0is concerns that tariff changes could make US iPhones more expensive to manufacture.
