Nick Kyrgios hasn\u2019t seen his tennis comeback go according to plan in 2025. <\/p>\n

Kyrgios announced he would play the Australian Open<\/a> back in January, but lost in straight sets to Jacob Fearnley from Great Britain. <\/p>\n

He hasn\u2019t featured at any of the other Grand Slam events this year, and Kyrgios recently announced that he was struggling with injury<\/a> once again. <\/p>\n

Kyrgios is due to play Aryna Sabalenka<\/a> in a Battle of the Sexes exhibition, and it would appear that the US Open<\/a> finalist has just ensured that the Australian will be upping the ante. <\/p>\n

Kyrgios is extremely active on social media and when the big tournaments are on, he\u2019s always keen to throw his opinion on things into the mix. <\/p>\n

Yesterday proved a busy day for the Australian, with Djokovic<\/a> making a brilliant claim about Kyrgios while speaking to the Serbian press. <\/p>\n

Journalist Sasa Ozmo shared a quote from Djokovic when he was quizzed on his ongoing bromance with Kyrgios and it made for a brilliant read. <\/p>\n

The 24-time Grand Slam winner told him: \u201cNick loves sending me clips from nightclubs, bars \u2013 I didn\u2019t even reply to the last one! He always says: \u2018Why do I keep running into Serbs everywhere in the world?\u2019 He\u2019ll go to a party, bump into one of ours, they\u2019ll say: \u2018Nick, you Serb!\u2019 Then they hug, drink, and he sends me the videos.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kyrgios replied to Djokovic\u2019s claims since these were posted, and it would appear that he\u2019s touched and honoured by these comments. <\/p>\n

He simply posted: \u201cThis is unbelievable hahaha.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kyrgios responds to Sabalenka claim about Battle of the Sexes<\/p>\n

This match looks set to take place later in the year and it promises to be an intriguing one between Kyrgios and arguably the most powerful women\u2019s player on the planet. <\/p>\n

Sabalenka was asked about the match with Kyrgios after reaching the US Open final and she said: \u201cI\u2019ll definitely go out there, and I will try my best to kick his a*s.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kyrgios naturally got wind of these comments and responded in typical fashion, saying: \u201cAlright, no prisoners.\u201d<\/p>\n

Exhibitions might be Kyrgios\u2019 best bet for match practice at the moment but it would be great to see him back on the tour in the near future. <\/p>\n

Kyrgios sent an emotional message to his fans<\/a> recently and hopefully, he can get back to competitive tennis in the near future and start to make waves once again. <\/p>\n
