Now 22, he has won five Grand Slam titles and is making a play to be the greatest male tennis player of his generation.<\/p>\n<p>Since the commencement of his second term in January of this year, Trump has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/donald-trump-sports-events-trips-fifa-club-world-cup-2098326\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"multivariate\">traveled to many sporting events<\/a>. The clip of him speaking to reporters was shared by the account, TheTennisLetter on X, where it has amassed 1.7 million views as of press time.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Carlos Alcaraz on Donald Trump attending the U.S. Open final:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will try not to think about it. I don&#8217;t want myself to be nervous because of it. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s great for tennis to have the president into the final.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/AtDzCyxEzK\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/AtDzCyxEzK<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Tennis Letter (@TheTennisLetter) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheTennisLetter\/status\/1964120925483520123?ref_src=twsrc^tfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">September 6, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Though Alcaraz said that it was &#8220;great,&#8221; and a &#8220;privilege,&#8221; for tennis and the tournament to have a world leader there, he said that he personally would try not to be focused on it, to avoid becoming &#8220;nervous.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sinner, 24, is from Italy and is making a play for his third Grand Slam title of the season, following victories at the Australian Open and Wimbledon.
