Carlos Alcaraz has been unstoppable at the US Open so far, and is now just one win away from claiming his sixth Grand Slam title. <\/p>\n

The Spaniard has enjoyed a flawless campaign at Flushing Meadows, having earned straight-set victories in each round, including his semifinal triumph over Novak Djokovic<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Alcaraz is faced with defending champion Jannik Sinner<\/a> in the final, marking their third consecutive championship match against each other at a major. <\/p>\n

In red-hot form, the 22-year-old is more than capable of dethroning the Italian, who he holds a winning record against at tour-level events. <\/p>\n

Ahead of the final, Serena Williams<\/a>\u2018 former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, pinpointed the weapon Alcaraz<\/a> now has in his game that could cause Sinner<\/a> some big problems.<\/p>\n

In a post on Instagram, Mouratoglou said: \u201cI agree that Carlos\u2019 serve, first and second, are better than what it was in the past. He really improved these last months.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you remember, he made a technical change on his serve, and I think he takes some time to get used to it and really get the benefits of it. I think that we are there now.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you see the risks he takes on second serve sometimes, it\u2019s unbelievable. It shows how much confidence he has in his serve, also.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think for his height, his serve is amazing, unbelievable. During this US Open, he has been extremely dominant with his serve.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say the biggest improvement with his serve is accuracy, percentage and confidence.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe confidence that it brings him, because when you see him take so much risk on second with success so often, he really shows that he is so confident about his serve.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is, if he wants to serve it in, he will serve it in, even if he hits much harder than usual. That\u2019s a big key.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alcaraz is looking to secure his second title in New York against Sinner and his second major of the 2025 ATP season. <\/p>\n

Should he emerge victorious, he will become the second man from Spain in tennis history to win multiple US Open championships, following Rafael Nadal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Countrymen Manuel Santana (1965) and Manuel Orantes (1975) have both clinched the title before, but never claimed a second. <\/p>\n
