A new leaked image of the Galaxy S26 series reveals that, finally, Samsung seems to be adopting Qi2 magnets, but also potentially copying the design of Apple\u2019s upcoming iPhone 17 series.<\/p>\n

Rumors around the Galaxy S26 series are currently pointing to three new models. A base Galaxy S26 \u201cPro,\u201d a top-end Galaxy S26 Ultra, and a Galaxy S26 Edge in the middle taking the place of the \u201cGalaxy S26+.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, a set of dummy units posted by leaker Sonny Dickson<\/a> are offering a supposed first look at the trio.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy S26 Pro and Galaxy S26 Ultra on either side of the image look relatively similar to their Galaxy S25 predecessors, though with a new camera bump that looks similar to what we saw on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 recently. But what\u2019s really notable about this is the circular cutout on the back of each device. There\u2019s not much to go on here, but it\u2019s hard to imagine this is for anything but Qi2. This could simply be to mark the location of the charging coil, but given Samsung\u2019s recent interest<\/a> and the standard Google Pixel 10 has now set<\/a>, we\u2019re hopeful this is pointing towards the adoption of Qi2 magnets.<\/p>\n

The third device in the image shows what is thought to be the Galaxy S26 Edge, and it\u2019s a huge departure in design from the other two.<\/p>\n

Instead of Samsung\u2019s typical camera module design, which the Galaxy S25 Edge had already departed from, this design looks remarkably similar to Apple\u2019s rumored iPhone 17 design with a full-width camera module along the back.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s an interesting change, to say the least, but the Edge was already clearly a play to keep up with Apple\u2019s rumored iPhone 17 Air, so the design isn\u2019t a huge surprise. <\/p>\n

We\u2019ll have to wait and see as more details develop in the coming months, but what do you think about this?<\/p>\n
