There\u2019s just one day to go until the iPhone 17<\/a> event, and the Awe Dropping announcements will of course be streaming online.<\/p>\n You have a choice of three different ways to watch the event live, and if you\u2019re watching from a browser, it\u2019s worth having two different tabs open \u2026 <\/p>\n While we\u2019re expecting the presentations to be pre-recorded, as we\u2019ve seen for the last few years, it is still streamed as if it were a live event.<\/p>\n We previously outlined<\/a> the three different ways to watch the livestream:<\/p>\n Apple\u2019s\u00a0TV app<\/a>, available from the Home tab<\/p>\n Apple\u2019s\u00a0Events website<\/a><\/p>\n Apple\u2019s official YouTube channel<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n Although Apple\u2019s aim is to have all three be in sync, that generally isn\u2019t quite the case. When it comes to the two web feeds, you\u2019ll typically find that one of them will be slightly ahead of the other. You might expect the feed from Apple\u2019s own website to be the most immediate and reliable, but surprisingly that isn\u2019t always the case.<\/p>\n I habitually have two tabs open, one for Apple\u2019s website, the other for its YouTube channel, and it\u2019s often the latter which is a little bit ahead.<\/p>\n The difference is small, typically a sentence or three at most, but still, if you want the most \u201clive\u201d of the pseudo-live experience, it\u2019s a good plan to have both tabs open and to mute the one which is further behind.<\/p>\n Highlighted accessories<\/p>\n Image: Apple<\/p>\n
