TikTok\/insightfullucy<\/p>\n<p>Davies says her frustration was made painfully clear during a family trip to Legoland. <\/p>\n<p>While celebrating her son\u2019s birthday, Lucy wore high-waisted shorts, a shirt and a vest top. But when the heat became unbearable, she removed her shirt for some relief only to find herself feeling worse.<\/p>\n<p>Even though she had successfully dropped from a size 22 to a size 12, she was unhappier with her body than ever.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI felt comfortable six stone heavier than what I did yesterday,\u201d Davies said. \u201cAnd to be honest, it ruined the day for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve never felt so disgusting in all my life,\u201d she bluntly added. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve lost 6 stone on Mounjaro, and I hate my body even more now!\u201d Davies said in her TikTok.  TikTok\/insightfullucy<\/p>\n<p>This revelation is a shocking reminder of the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/08\/14\/i-was-suicidal-on-ozempic-its-not-a-miracle-weight-loss-drug-for-everyone\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">emotional challenges that accompany a physical transformation<\/a>. Even though the mom got the results that she wanted on paper, her journey to self-acceptance is far from over.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt just made me realize I\u2019ve still got such a long way to go because yeah I\u2019ve lost a lot of weight but I\u2019m not happy,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>With the weight loss came something Davies hadn\u2019t fully anticipated \u2014 excess skin. Facebook\/Weight loss with Lucy<\/p>\n<p>Davies, who stays active by walking, has realized she needs to do more to feel good in her body. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs much as I hate the gym, I think it\u2019s actually time to get in the gym,\u201d she said. \u201cI really felt like crap all day yesterday and I don\u2019t want to continue feeling like that.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Sadly, body dysmorphia is a struggle many people experience after significant weight loss. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMounjaro doesn\u2019t do the mental work of body transformation,\u201d one person commented. <\/p>\n<p>Someone else wrote: \u201cI\u2019ve lost around 8\/9 stone over 2\/3 years and I still hate my body. No one talks about the body dysmorphia after weight loss.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI still sit a cry on the floor. Body distortion doesn\u2019t go what ever size you are,\u201d a TikTokker commented.<\/p>\n<p>Lucy Davies started using Mounjaro around a year ago.
