Tom Brady<\/a> is throwing a flag on the play.<\/p>\n

The football legend, 47, shut down rumors that he thinks Sof\u00eda Vergara<\/a>, 53, is \u201ctoo old\u201d to date, noting in a statement from his rep that he \u201cwould never\u201d say that.<\/p>\n

“Tom never said, nor would he ever say, anything like this,\u201d his rep told People<\/a> in a July 10 statement. \u201cIt is pure fiction.”<\/p>\n

The seven-time Super Bowl<\/a> champ\u2019s reaction seems to be in response to an anonymous source\u2019s claim that Tom doesn\u2019t have plans to seriously date the Modern Family alum.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe sees Sof\u00eda as beautiful and his type, but he isn’t going to start a relationship with her,\u201d the supposed insider told Daily Mail<\/a> in an interview published earlier that day, \u201cas she is older and stuck in her ways.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speculation of a budding romance between Tom and Sof\u00eda began earlier this month when the Griselda star shared a picture of the pair at dinner together, alongside musician J Balvin<\/a>, while aboard a celeb-filled superyacht. <\/p>\n

In the caption of the July 1 Instagram recap of her boat excursion\u2014which also counted Kendall Jenner<\/a>, Ricky Martin and Real Housewives<\/a> star Jenna Lyons among its guests\u2014Sof\u00eda wrote in the caption, \u201cWhat a perfect weekend full of surprises!\u201d<\/p>\n

E! News reached out to their reps for comment on the romance rumors but didn\u2019t hear back.<\/p>\n

And it turned out he had a secret weapon in the pocket with him: Yes, it was his wife’s unflagging support<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kelly shared on TODAY<\/a> after the Rams’ win that she wrote her husband letters before every game leading up to the big one in February 2022. “It was just how much I thought he truly deserved this, and why I thought he deserved it,” she said. “The most important thing at the end of the day is that we all have each other.”<\/p>\n

After two lackluster seasons in Denver, he was in comeback-player-of-the-year form with the Steelers. But they also acquired former Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields in 2024, so Russ moved on to sign a one-year deal with the New York Giants in 2025.<\/p>\n

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys<\/p>\n

But when she purposely gave him a wrong phone number, he came back to the restaurant to give her his digits\u2014and tell her that, when she was ready, he’d pick up the phone. A few weeks later, she found out Derick wasn’t so typical.<\/p>\n

I also enjoy organizing all kinds of stuff for Kirk off the field, like his bodywork, making sure we all get good sleep and that we’re getting in quality time with our boys. And while at 36 Kirk is closer to the end of his career than the beginning, he said he’d love to play until sons Cooper (born Sept. 29, 2017) and Turner (March 10, 2019) can “really remember it and will have enjoyed being a part of it.”<\/p>\n

Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars<\/p>\n

“9 years with you and it keeps getting better everyday,” Ann wrote Oct. 30 on Instagram<\/a>. “I couldn\u2019t imagine my life with out you as my best friend. I love you more than you know!”<\/p>\n

After wrapping up his rookie NFL season, Drake popped the question<\/a>, captioning their Jan. 15, 2015, engagement announcement, “Love doing life with you. Can’t wait to marry you!”<\/p>\n

Desmond Ridder, Las Vegas Raiders<\/p>\n

The third-round 2022 draft pick turned late-season rookie starter for the Falcons has a nose for numbers.<\/p>\n

“4 years, 1460 days, 2,102,400 minutes with you has been one hell of a journey, we have had our ups and downs but it has made us stronger in the end,” Desmond posted<\/a> about his then-fianc\u00e9e Claire Cornett in 2020. “Can\u2019t wait to spend forever with you.”<\/p>\n

The University of Cincinnati sweethearts introduced<\/a> daughter Leighton Elizabeth Ridder to the world on April 21, 2021 (yes, Bearcat onesies<\/a> do come in that size), and then tied the knot<\/a> July 15, 2022. <\/p>\n

Son Kyland Jett<\/a> arrived on Feb. 20, 2024.<\/p>\n

For their second anniversary, Desmond wrote to Claire<\/a>, “Thank you for loving me unconditionally through thick and thin and never missing a chance to make me laugh. You are the BEST Wife, Mother, and Friend that anyone could ask for.”<\/p>\n

In 2024, their surroundings may have changed\u2014Mac signed with the Jaguars to back up Trevor Lawrence\u2014but the company has stayed the same.<\/p>\n

The only quarterback selected in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft reported for Steelers’ training camp in 2023 a married man, swapping vows<\/a> with former Princeton soccer player Amy Paternoster on June 24.<\/p>\n

The couple, who started dating in 2021, honeymooned in Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n

On Amy’s 22nd birthday Feb. 13, 2023, Kenny posted to Instagram<\/a>, “Extremely grateful for you every day and spending the rest of my life with you will be the greatest honor I could ask for.”<\/p>\n

They enjoyed their first wedding anniversary vacationing in Napa, Calif., before Kenny reported for duty with the Philadelphia Eagles to back up Jalen Hurts.<\/p>\n

After his fifth-year option was picked up by the Dolphins in March 2023, Tua admitted to reporters that he considered retiring after his injury-marred 2022 season.<\/p>\n

And not least because he had so many wonderful things to stay home for.<\/p>\n

“Never one to put my private life out there. But this one deserved a post,” Tua wrote on July 17, 2023, sharing a one-time-only snap<\/a> of his love Annah Tagovailoa. “Happy 1 Year Anniversary to my beautiful wife. I love you.”<\/p>\n

In a rare peek into his off-field world<\/a>, Tua told reporters in November 2022 that he was thankful for his wife and new baby (son Ace, born in August 2022, made his public debut<\/a> at the Tua Foundation luau benefit the following April).<\/p>\n

“It’s very unique how having a child impacts how you see things differently in life. It\u2019s like nothing that I\u2019ve experienced,” Tua said. “There\u2019s no playbook for this because everyone\u2019s experience is different, whether you\u2019re having a boy first or a girl.”<\/p>\n

That being said, he added, “I thank my heavenly Father up above that I got a boy first. Oh, man. I don\u2019t know what I\u2019d do if I had a girl. It’d be a little harder, I think, because I wouldn\u2019t know what to do necessarily.”<\/p>\n
