While Vera served looks at the US Open, she\u2019s always dressed to impress. In fact, for her 76th birthday celebration in June, the fashion icon turned heads in two outfits: a backless slip dress<\/a> and a lace-trimmed gown<\/a> layered with white pearls.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust celebrating my 75 9\/10 – 76th birthday NEW YORK TIME with my Parisian crew and a few others who have been lifelong besties!\u201d she wrote on Instagram<\/a> that month. “Thank you all for this special special night!\u201d
After all, Vera believes it\u2019s important to celebrate every year of her life\u2014in style, of course.<\/p>\n

“After my 75th last year, I said, \u2018Maybe, you don\u2019t have to celebrate after 75,\u2019\u201d she told People in May, one month before her birthday event in Paris. \u201cA lot of my friends don\u2019t want to. They say, \u2018I\u2019m too old.\u2019 I said, \u2018It\u2019s not about being old. It\u2019s about being here and living, and we should celebrate that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
