It is about what world we will be living in in 100 years,\u201d she told <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/collider.com\/sigourney-weaver-alien-earth-reaction\/\">Collider<\/a>. \u201cI think the scope of it is so much bigger than an Alien project. Fascinating. Much more about our world, what\u2019s going to be happening to it, what\u2019s going to be important, the role of greed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tShe continued, \u201cIt\u2019s just exploded some of the themes that have always been part of the Alien series, and I think it\u2019s beautifully cast and beautifully done. I can\u2019t believe it\u2019s television, frankly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAlien: Earth takes place in the year 2120, when the Earth is governed by five corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold. In this Corporate Era, cyborgs (humans with both biological and artificial parts) and synthetics (humanoid robots with artificial intelligence) exist alongside humans. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBut the game is changed when the wunderkind Founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation unlocks a new technological advancement: hybrids (humanoid robots infused with human consciousness). The first hybrid prototype named \u201cWendy\u201d (Sydney Chandler) marks a new dawn in the race for immortality.
