The top two ranked players on the ATP Tour<\/a> continue to dominate, with Alcaraz and Sinner now sharing the last eight major titles<\/a>.<\/p>\n It has now been predicted how many Grand Slams Alcaraz<\/a> and Sinner<\/a> will win before they retire from professional tennis.<\/p>\n After winning the US Open<\/a> for a second time, Alcaraz has become a six-time Grand Slam champion, while Sinner has four major titles to his name.<\/p>\n Mats Wilander has backed Alcaraz to catch Roger Federer<\/a>, who won 20 Grand Slam singles titles before he retired.<\/p>\n However, Tennis Hall of Famer journalist Steve Flink does not agree, and instead has predicted both Alcaraz and Sinner to fall short of the big three of Federer<\/a>, Rafael Nadal<\/a> and Novak Djokovic<\/a>.<\/p>\n That being said, Flink does believe that Alcaraz and Sinner can overtake the likes of Pete Sampras<\/a> and Andre Agassi<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, no my guess at this point is that they\u2026I\u2019m thinking that they end up around 18 and 16 and 17 and 15,\u201d Flink said on the Court-Side with Beilinson Tennis\u2019 US Open recap show. \u201cI don\u2019t think they\u2019re going to hit the 20. <\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s my guess right now, [it] takes so many years. That means they have got to stay healthy for so long and what the three men did, the three icons, was just so extraordinary and I think people don\u2019t understand that. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s one thing for Roger to move past Pete with 14, but when you\u2019re now bringing the numbers up to 20, 22, 24, you know how many years that takes even if you\u2019re pocketing two or three a year, some years\u2026It\u2019s two for now, that doesn\u2019t mean somebody doesn\u2019t move into the Djokovic slot and becomes more of a big three. For the time being, it\u2019s definitely a big two. <\/p>\n \u201cBut if I had to predict now, I\u2019d say they fall just a little shy, but they\u2019re definitely well up in the teens, both of them. So, that gets to your point about Pete and Andre. Now, they\u2019ll go past Pete, both of them, I think.
