Anna Kalinskaya, the Russian tennis star who is the ex-girlfriend of world No. 2 Jannik Sinner, called out another male tennis star for sliding into her DMs \u201c10 times\u201d asking for a date.<\/p>\n

Asked by former tennis player Anna Chakvetadze on the First&Red podcast<\/a> if other male tennis players had tried asking her out, the 26-year-old Kalinskaya replied: \u201cTennis players – more often before.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cNow I\u2019m older, I don\u2019t know, for some there\u2019s no chance! No need to write.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cSomeone wrote like 10 times and then gave up. I\u2019ll say who it is now, Holger Rune.\u00a0 He writes to everyone.\u00a0He thinks too much of himself.<\/p>\n \u201cMaybe he\u2019s just desperate, but he\u2019s not the only one [to have messaged me].\u201d<\/p>\n Rune, 22, disputed her account, taking to social media to say, \u201cHa ha ha. We might have cultural differences that make Anna read a comment on a story as an invitation to a date.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cIf I want to go for a date, I ask for a date. Don\u2019t worry.\u201d<\/p>\n Kalinskaya, who reached career-high ranking of world No. 11 in singles and No. 37 in doubles, also briefly dated tennis bad boy Nick Kyrgios when she was 21. <\/p>\n She later called him a \u2018bad person\u2019 on an Instagram Live.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cYou are not a bad boy, you are simply a bad person,\u201d she said.<\/a><\/p>\n Kalinskaya began dating Sinner, then the world No. 1 in early 2024, but the relationship did not last.<\/p>\n She is now reportedly back with her former boyfriend Tomas Ferrari.<\/p>\n \u2018I\u2019d rather not [reveal who he is],” she said in the First&Red interview.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s not an athlete. He used to do sports, but not professionally.
