\n Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has apologized to the fan he exchanged shoves with during Baltimore\u2019s Week 1 defeat to the Buffalo Bills<\/a> on Sunday.\n <\/p>\n \n Following DeAndre Hopkins\u2019 touchdown<\/a> in the third quarter at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, several Ravens players celebrated at the back of the endzone near the crowd.\n <\/p>\n \n A fan in a Bills jersey could be seen reaching out and shoving Hopkins\u2019 helmet as he walked past before doing similar to Jackson. The two-time NFL MVP then turned around and pushed the fan with two hands in the chest.\n <\/p>\n \n On Wednesday, Jackson apologized for his involvement in the incident.\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cI believe everyone saw what happened. Don\u2019t get me wrong, I didn\u2019t try to (gestured pushing), it just happened,\u201d the 28-year-old told reporters. \u201cI got pushed (in the head), and (I was) like: \u2018What?\u2019\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cI thought I was outside. I wasn\u2019t even thinking about me being out there on the field. But my apologies to that (person) \u2013 whoever that was \u2013 I don\u2019t know who it was. My apologies to him. Just chill next time. You can talk trash and stuff, but keep your hands to yourself.\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n According to the Associated Press<\/a>, the fan was ejected by stadium security and has been banned from all NFL games and events. CNN Sports<\/a> has contacted the Bills for comment.\n <\/p>\n \n Jackson was asked whether he\u2019s heard about any potential disciplinary action<\/a> from the NFL related to the pushing incident, but the two-time MVP said he hasn\u2019t.\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cI talked to (Ravens executive vice president) Eric (DeCosta). Eric talked to me about it. The league talked to Eric to talk to me about it,\u201d Jackson said.\n <\/p>\n \n Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh said \u201cas far as I know\u201d there would be no punishment for Jackson, adding: \u201cI think we\u2019re in a really good spot with that.\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n CNN Sports has contacted the NFL to ask whether the league is considering handing out any disciplinary action to Jackson.\n <\/p>\n \n Jackson was also asked about Bills fans throwing objects onto the field after a water bottle could be seen landing<\/a> near the endzone after Ravens running back Derrick Henry scored a fourth-quarter touchdown on Sunday.\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cThat\u2019s crazy. Stuff like that shouldn\u2019t be happening. This is not WWE. We\u2019re playing football out here,\u201d he said. \u201cDon\u2019t make me look bad, Flock Nation, don\u2019t make me look bad \u2013 but I\u2019ve never seen one of our fans do anything like that to an opposing team.\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cSo, just keep it football. (You can) talk trash, I know (people are) going to talk trash. I know the opposing team is going to talk trash, so keep it that way.
