Before unleashing her first memoir<\/a>, the Vanderpump Rules<\/a> alum gave fans a little taste of what the tell-all book would deliver. Scheana spoke about the project in the July 3 episode of her Scheananigans podcast<\/a>, explaining why the business move was both scary and exciting.<\/p>\n

\u201cI talk about the deepest, darkest things that have happened in my life,\u201d she said. \u201cAll of the skeletons in the closet are now in the book for your entertainment and hopefully for you to be able to relate to.\u201d<\/p>\n

Scheana Shay hopes her upcoming memoir will help others\u00a0<\/p>\n

Although it\u2019s not easy being so vulnerable, Scheana said she wanted her memoir,\u00a0My Good Side, to help and potentially inspire others who are also navigating hardships.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know by telling my story and what I\u2019ve gone through \u2014 and I\u2019m still going through and working on \u2014 I know I\u2019m not alone,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd I want you guys to know that you\u2019re not alone\u2026 If I could do this in front of the entire world, hopefully, you can get through it in the privacy of your own home and in your small inner circle.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"BlueHow Scheana Shay’s book release will impact her daughter, Summer Moon<\/p>\n

My Good Side\u00a0is set to release on July 22 and will be supported by a United States book tour<\/a>. The trek will kick off on July 21 in New York City and will include stops in Chicago, Austin, Atlanta, and Cincinnati before concluding August 7 in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

Scheana said she was pumped for the book tour, but was a bit \u201cnervous\u201d about spending time away from Summer Moon Honey Davies<\/a>, the 4-year-old daughter she shares with her husband, Brock Davies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have always wanted to go on a tour, whether it\u2019s a book tour, a music tour, a podcast tour, whatever it is, all the things, I\u2019ve always wanted to tour,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m nervous. I am going to be away from my daughter for a long time. I\u2019m just nervous for all the things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Scheana Shay reveals her husband, Brock Davies, had an affair<\/p>\n

In the weeks leading up to My Good Side\u2019s release, several outlets shared numerous shocking excerpts. Two of the most-talked-about portions addressed Scheana\u2019s romantic life, including her affair<\/a> with Eddie Cibrian<\/a>, and Brock\u2019s infidelity<\/a>. The latter came as a surprise to many Bravo fans, as Scheana never publicly addressed the incident before writing My Good Side.<\/p>\n

According to an excerpt shared by Glamour<\/a>, Brock cheated on Scheana in 2020 while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon. The former SURver said Brock didn\u2019t confess to the affair until after they filmed Vanderpump Rules Season 10, which documented one of the biggest cheating scandals in Bravo history<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrock said that with all of the fake news being published, he was afraid that something that actually was true might surface, and it was best that I heard it directly from him,\u201d Scheana recalled in her memoir. \u201cMy whole body froze, and I remained in a state of paralyzed shock as he confessed that he\u2019d cheated on me two years prior, when we were living in San Diego during the pandemic, while I was pregnant with Summer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Scheana Shay says Brock Davies vowed to “never betray [her] again”<\/p>\n

Scheana said Brock admitted he \u201cwas scared about being a father again, specifically about whether he even deserved to be, and he chose to deal with it by sleeping with someone else.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI use the word \u2018chose\u2019 because it was very much a conscious decision. No one twisted his arm or dragged him into bed,\u201d she continued. \u201cThere was this deep fury bubbling inside of me, and I couldn\u2019t release it. If I screamed, I could wake up my daughter. Our daughter. His baby, whom I\u2019d been carrying while he was in bed with another woman. I stood up and started pacing back and forth, fuming, and feeling like I might throw up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Scheana said Brock subsequently wrote her a letter that included details about the affair, which he described as \u201cpurely physical\u201d and \u201cnever emotional.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said he realized he was throwing his second chance at a family away by stepping out and swore to himself that he would never betray me again,\u201d Scheana recalled. \u201cOnce I\u2019d read [the letter], that was more than enough. I told him to immediately toss it into the fire. I never wanted to set eyes on those words again.\u201d<\/p>\n
