Lala\u00a0Kent<\/a>\u00a0is saying goodbye to her Give Them Lala podcast.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Vanderpump Rules<\/a>\u00a0alum confirmed the news earlier this week, more than five years after launching the weekly\u00a0series. While the decision undoubtedly left some fans disappointed, the mother of two reassured listeners she wasn\u2019t abandoning\u00a0the podcast sphere; she was\u00a0simply rebranding.<\/p>\n

Lala Kent takes a big step in her “rebranding” journey<\/p>\n

\u201cThe podcast, I\u2019m very excited,\u201d she said in her September 9\u00a0Amazon Live stream<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ve been talking about the reinvention of\u00a0Lala\u00a0and what that means and what that\u2019s going to look like. It took me a really, really long time to kind of understand what that was going to look like.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lala\u00a0began teasing a rebrand during\u00a0Vanderpump Rules\u00a0Season 11<\/a>, explaining why she no longer liked the tone of “give them Lala.”<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I created\u00a0Give Them\u00a0Lala, it was very much like I was shoving myself down your throat,\u201d she said in Season 11, Episode 7. \u201cI have changed as a person. I am, believe it or not, a little bit more reserved, and I need my brand to reflect that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lala Kent explains why she’s ditching the Give Them Lala name<\/p>\n

She reiterated her stance during her latest Amazon Live stream, saying the\u00a0Give Them\u00a0Lala\u00a0name was simply too \u201cjuvenile.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u00a0was talking about a rebrand that was going to happen,\u201d she said.\u00a0\u201cI\u00a0just\u00a0didn\u2019t even know, at that point in time, what I wanted out of life. I didn\u2019t really know who I was. I went through a monumental change in my world, and I was kind of running off of adrenaline\u2026\u00a0at that point in my life, I was starting to get really comfortable with who I am, my new normal\u2026\u00a0It took me a lot of time to\u00a0find my footing, decide what I believe in, [and] who I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former SUR hostess said\u00a0Give Them\u00a0Lala\u00a0\u201crepresented a part of [her] life that no longer exists.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd it\u2019s not going to exist ever again. We\u2019ve grown out of it,\u201d she continued.\u00a0\u201cSo, I dissolved two of my businesses, and the\u00a0podcast is next.\u201d<\/p>\n

When can we expect Lala Kent’s new podcast?<\/p>\n

The Utah native previously rebranded the Give Them\u00a0Lala\u00a0Beauty brand to just\u00a0Lala\u00a0Beauty.\u00a0Give Them\u00a0Lala\u00a0was also the title of\u00a0her 2021 book<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although she couldn\u2019t confirm an exact launch date for her new podcast,\u00a0Lala\u00a0said she and her team were aiming for a September 17 premiere.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited for you guys to see what we\u2019re going to be doing when we come back,\u201d she told fans.<\/p>\n
