Acadian Ambulance issued the following statement regarding the termination of the employee: “Acadian Ambulance Service\u2019s core mission statement is ‘knowing life matters.’ Our mission is built on compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to saving lives.”We are aware of a recent social media post by one of our employees on their personal page. The post was not reflective of our company\u2019s mission and values or the high standard of professional conduct we expect from every member of our team. The employee has since removed the post and is no longer employed by Acadian Ambulance Service.”Our team members dedicate their lives to caring for others in their moments of greatest need. We expect and hold one another accountable to uphold respect, dignity, and professionalism both in the field and online.”This comes after Kirk was shot and killed on the Utah Valley University campus earlier this week. The New Orleans Fire Department is also investigating a similar situation where an employee was accused of making inappropriate comments about Kirk’s death online.
