The deal closed for $25 million in August.<\/p>\n<p>Which NBA superstar bought Maria Sharapova\u2019s Manhattan Beach house?<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocregister.com\/2025\/09\/11\/luka-doncic-buys-maria-sharapovas-manhattan-beach-home-for-25m\/?utm_content=tw-ocregister&amp;utm_source=twitter.com&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=socialflow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">Orange County Register<\/a>, the house was sold to Luka Don\u010di\u0107, a player for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. In addition to competing in the league, Don\u010di\u0107 also represents the Slovenian national team.<br \/>Before joining the Lakers, Don\u010di\u0107 played for Real Madrid Baloncesto from 2015 to 2018 and for the Dallas Mavericks from 2018 to 2025. He recently signed a three-year contract extension worth $165 million with the Lakers and is projected to have NBA career earnings of more than $300 million by the end of that deal.<br \/>The three-story house features five bedrooms, a two-lane bowling alley, and a swimming pool.<\/p>\n<p>On the tennis side, Sharapova won five Grand Slam singles titles during her career: two at the French Open and one each at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the U.S. Open. She was ranked No. 1 in the WTA rankings and also claimed a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics. In her induction speech, Sharapova delivered a heartfelt tribute to her father, Yuri Sharapova, who worked with her, coached her, and served as her manager for nearly 20 years.<\/p>\n<p>During her speech, Sharapova expressed gratitude to her father for his guidance, saying she was a \u201clucky girl\u201d to have him by her side throughout her tennis journey, especially when others doubted her potential.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDad, we really did this together, didn\u2019t we? I was a little nervous when my dad told me he was going to choose a suit for today without any supervision, but you do. You look good. I approve. It\u2019s always a scary thought as a daughter.
