The retired guard watched Trimble firsthand in the offseason when they spent time together at the basketball camp.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"paragraph\" class=\"mb-[20px] md:mb-[30px] break-word\">Felton, who won the 2005 national championship with the Tar Heels, has been a critic of the backcourt\u2019s performance. Besides offering positive words for former teammate Hubert Davis, who might be on the hot seat this season, he also shared some wisdom with Trimble.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"paragraph\" class=\"mb-[20px] md:mb-[30px] break-word\">Trimble led the team in steals per game (1.4), ranked third in points (11.6), and second in rebounds (5.0) for a team that posted a 23-14 record (13-7 in the conference) and was eliminated in the first round of the NCAA tournament.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Raymond Felton reveals what he told Seth Trimble before NCAA season\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"paragraph\" class=\"mb-[20px] md:mb-[30px] break-word\">In an interview on the \u201cTarHeel247\u201d podcast, the former New York Knicks guard discussed the advice he gave Tremble during UNC\u2019s summer camp.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/BUS_20250914_BUS_491442_Raymond-Felton-1024x576_de2e2cef.webp&#038;width=1024&#038;height=576.webp\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" alt=\"Raymond Felton\" class=\"h-auto\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"text-center mt-5 text-[14px] leading-[20px] font-normal\">Raymond Felton<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"paragraph\" class=\"mb-[20px] md:mb-[30px] break-word\">\u201cI went back to the camp this year because my son, you know, was a part of the Carolina camp this year,\u201d Felton explained. \u201cI talked to Seth for a long time. I said, bro, do me a favor. This is all I asked for you,\u201d Felton told Trimble. \u201cI said, I watched y\u2019all practice last year. I watched y\u2019all play last year a lot. And I said, let\u2019s get back to like making people uncomfortable in our building.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-testid=\"paragraph\" class=\"break-word\">The Tar Heels enter the season with a lot of pressure.
