CPT codes for OGM are key components for obtaining reimbursement from third party payers when labs use LDTs based on OGM as alternatives to legacy cytogenetics methods such as karyotyping, fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH) and microarrays. There are now two such codes, 81195 for use of OGM in hematologic malignancy analysis and this latest one, 81354, for use of OGM in constitutional genetic disease. Bionano Laboratories offers OGM-Dx\u2122 Postnatal Whole Genome SV and OGM-Dx\u2122 Prenatal Whole Genome SV, both of which are expected to be covered by this new code. Both codes are expected to be priced at $1263.53 when pricing becomes effective in the next CPT codebook on January 1, 2026.<\/p>\n
