Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich teased their upcoming reunion in Five Nights at Freddy\u2019s 2 during\u00a0the Scream panel at Silver Scream Con over the weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am thrilled to have [Skeet] in the community,\u201d said Lillard, who reprises his role as William Afton from the 2023 video game adapatation. \u201cI saw his performance this week. They\u2019re gonna love it. He\u2019s playing a great character. If the movie\u2019s successful, hopefully he comes back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lillard continues, \u201cWe\u2019ve seen how voracious this Five Nights community is, and I just think it\u2019s lovely to have him a part of it. I\u2019m glad Scott [Cawthon, Five Nights at Freddy\u2019s creator] brought him in.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI always love spending time with Matt,\u201d Ulrich added. \u201cHe\u2019s one of the greatest people I know, quite honestly. As you guys have experienced, he\u2019s such a giving man. I always like spending time with him, and [Five Nights at Freddy\u2019s 2] was no exception.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI love William Afton,\u201d Lillard noted. \u201cThe first movie I think I had, like, two written lines in the script, and I said to the director [Emma Tammi], \u2018Why do you want me in this movie?\u2019 And she said to me, \u2018You\u2019re the Voldemort of the universe, and they can\u2019t make a movie without you.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018I\u2019m so in!\u2019<\/p>\n

Lillard adds, \u201cI love being a part of the franchise. I value that part and what William Afton means to the fans, so I take it really seriously.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn fact, Dead by Daylight, the video game, they wanted me to do the Springtap lines. I\u2019m like, \u2018I\u2019m not doing Springtap until I do Springtap in the movie.\u2019 So the only way I do Springtap is that people go see the movie on December 5! And then we make a third.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tammi is back in the director\u2019s chair, working from another script by Cawthon.<\/p>\n

Lillard and Ulrich star alongside\u00a0Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Theodus Crane, Freddy Carter, Wayne Knight, and Mckenna Grace.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
