First-time parents Kacie Adkison<\/a> and Cole McBee<\/a> have had time to look back and reflect since the December 2024 birth of their baby girl, Blair Collins McBee<\/a>, so they’re now pulling back the curtain on\u00a0The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys<\/a>\u00a0Season 2.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As Kacie said in an exclusive interview with Bravo\u2019s The Daily Dish<\/a>, \u201cViewers might not have noticed, but I was constantly worried about making sure Blair would grow up in a close, loving family and not be surrounded by the drama from the past year.\u201d<\/p>\n

But, with hindsight being 20\/20, she continued, \u201cLooking back now, all the anxiety was really for no reason. Blair is here, and we couldn\u2019t be closer as a family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Viewers may recall that\u00a0Kacie\u2019s anxiety was even the source of a terrifying health scare<\/a> on Season 2, Episode 2, sending the expectant mother on a trip to the hospital. Looking back, she told The Daily Dish that her pregnancy-related anxiety was one of the things that \u201csurprised [her] the most\u201d during filming.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As Kacie put it, \u201cI didn\u2019t realize it then, but I was constantly in fight or flight mode, and watching the show back, I realized there\u2019s so much that had happened that my mind had blocked out of memory.\u201d<\/p>\n

But that wasn\u2019t all that surprised her about the production. She said, \u201cWhat surprised me the most about this season is how much I found my voice as a person and in my relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cole McBee opens up on the joys of becoming a father<\/p>\n

Both could agree that welcoming Blair into the world was the most incredible part of Kacie and Cole\u2019s journey, which came after months of par-for-the-course fears and indecision over whether the couple should become engaged<\/a>. The third of the four McBee brothers<\/a> said that not only was Blair \u201cthe best thing\u201d to happen to them, but \u201cwatching Kacie become a mom and watching her motherly instincts kick in has been so awesome to watch,\u201d he told\u00a0The Daily DIsh.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe is literally the best mom in the world, and I couldn\u2019t ask for a better partner to take on this new journey of parenthood,\u201d Cole continued. \u201cOur relationship is by far in the best spot it has ever been in, and I love my little family!\u201d<\/p>\n

Are Cole McBee and Kacie Adkison engaged?<\/p>\n

In short, Cole and Kacie are not engaged yet, but it sounds like they\u2019re closer than ever.\u00a0For her part, Kacie said she was \u201cready and excited\u201d to have Cole put a ring on it. Cole chimed in that he, too, was \u201cready for the next step,\u201d teasing, \u201cMaybe it will happen soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

ICYMI, on Season 2, Episode 8, Cole and his mom, Kristi McBee<\/a>, picked out the perfect engagement ring for Cole to proposed. However, during a romantic outing on the Gallatin, Missouri, farm, Kacie pressed the brakes, saying, “I just think we need a little more time \u2026 I don’t wanna get engaged just because it’s the next step in our relationship. I wanna get married because, like, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you.”<\/p>\n

But since Blair\u2019s birth, things are on the up-and-up for the future Mr. and Mrs. McBee, because, \u201cBecoming parents has brought us so much closer, and I feel confident in our relationship to take that next step,\u201d Kacie continued in her recent interview.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more? \u201cBlair will be a beautiful flower girl, and that makes it even more special.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kacie Adkison and Cole McBee’s relationship timeline<\/p>\n

Cole and Kacie have been dating for more than five years, according to People<\/a>, and they made Blair the first of this McBee generation. Only months later, the second eldest, Jesse McBee<\/a>, and Alli Ventresca<\/a> (now Alli McBee) welcomed Summer Leigh McBee<\/a>\u00a0into the world.<\/p>\n

Still, audiences have seen Kacie and Cole\u2019s fair share of ups and downs, from Cole\u2019s wild partying in Nashville on Season 1 \u2014 which saw him almost go home with another woman \u2014 to Season 2 arguments over his drunken behavior in the Ozarks<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But now that Blair has given them a new-and-improved lease on their relationship, audiences can continue holding their breath until Cole pops the question once more.\u00a0<\/p>\n
