\u201cThere\u2019s zero politics in it,\u201d Gowdy said. \u201cIt\u2019s all criminal justice, which I\u2019m very familiar with. Many series and movies don\u2019t accurately portray the role that prosecutors play. I wanted to show readers what it actually looks like \u2014 being at the crime scene, sitting in on the first interview, and then having to explain everything to the jury at the end.\u201d<\/p>\n
