The new phones were already on Android 16 QPR1 (August patch).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When the big quarterly update was released for all other devices <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2025\/09\/03\/android-16-qpr1-pixel\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">two weeks ago<\/a>, the Pixel 10 series got a small update to September 2025 security patch with these fixes:<\/p>\n<p>Audio: General improvements for system stability and performance in certain conditions*[1]<\/p>\n<p>Display &amp; Graphics: Fix for issue with screen turning black during transitions from a webpage in the in-app browser under certain conditions*[5]<\/p>\n<p>Framework: Fix for issue with the power button stops working, in certain instances when connected to Android Auto and charging via USB-C*[1]<\/p>\n<p>System: Fix for issue occasionally causing system instability in certain conditions*[1]<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-wp-class--hide=\"state.isContentHidden\" data-wp-class--show=\"state.isContentVisible\" data-wp-init=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\" data-wp-on-async--click=\"actions.showLightbox\" data-wp-on-async--load=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\" data-wp-on-async-window--resize=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\"  alt=\"\" data-height=\"1024\" data-id=\"689392\" data-link=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2025\/09\/16\/pixel-10-september-2025-ota-update\/pixel-10-september-2025-ota-update-2\/\" data-url=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2025\/09\/pixel-10-september-2025-ota-update.jpg?quality=82&amp;strip=all\" data-width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/pixel-10-september-2025-ota-update.jpg\" data-amp-layout=\"responsive\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Google today released another \u201cSep 2025\u201d OTA update for the <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/android\/ota#frankel\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pixel 10<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/android\/ota#blazer\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">10 Pro<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/android\/ota#mustang\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">10 Pro XL<\/a>: BD3A.250721.001.E1.
