The Ravens had several changes to their practice squad Tuesday as they prepare to take on the Detroit Lions in Week 3.<\/p>\n

Baltimore brought back outside linebacker and Baltimore native Malik Hamm to their practice squad. After earning a spot on the team’s initial practice squad, Hamm was released last week when the Ravens signed wide receiver Cornelius Johnson.<\/p>\n

A product of Baltimore City College and Lafayette University, Hamm made Baltimore’s 53-man roster as an undrafted rookie in 2023. His first two seasons were lost to knee injuries, but he returned this summer and had a strong preseason.<\/p>\n

Hamm would add outside linebacker depth if elevated. Veteran Kyle Van Noy left Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns with a hamstring injury and Head Coach John Harbaugh has not given a specific timetable for Van Noy\u2019s return<\/a>. David Ojabo, who has been a healthy scratch the first two weeks, could also see action if Van Noy can’t play.<\/p>\n

Veteran safety and special teams ace J.T. Gray has been placed on the practice squad injured list. A 2021 special teams Pro Bowler, Gray has yet to see action with the Ravens after signing to the practice squad on Sept. 3.<\/p>\n

The Ravens lost center Nick Samac from the practice squad after the Carolina Panthers signed him to their 53-man roster on Tuesday.
