\u201cThe Sandman\u201d actor didn\u2019t look to any particular real-life figure in the \u201cmanosphere\u201d space in order to play Bro Hartman.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m a big fan of a lot of shows that are out there. I think they\u2019re little microcosms of National Geographic or PBS, that cater to your interests about anything,\u201d he told The Post.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think the truth is hidden in the writing. And my job is to not judge any of that. That\u2019s the fun part of performing the character with such\u00a0a cool, strange point of view on things.\u201d<\/p>\n

He quipped that during his scenes with Aniston, \u201cI just tried to not be weird.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI think she\u2019s done, in my opinion, the best work that she\u2019s ever done in this show, because I think it\u2019s an accumulation of everything [in her career],\u201d he gushed. \u201cIt\u2019s taking all the best bits that she does, not just the funny stuff, but the most dramatic, and putting it into this role.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

When entering such a star-studded show four seasons in, Holbrook said, \u201cYou\u2019re the new guy. Everybody\u2019s already made friends. Where do I fit in? But, that\u2019s like the criteria of getting anything you\u2019re going to do as an actor. The role is so fun to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
In \u201cThe Morning Show,\u201d other characters wonder if Bro Hartman believes everything he says, or if he puts on a persona.<\/p>\n
