Iga Swiatek is going to be bidding for glory in Seoul with one eye potentially looking towards the WTA Finals in Saudi Arabia in November.<\/p>\n

The Polish player has had a pretty decent 2025 and will be keen to avoid it finishing in a disappointing fashion.<\/p>\n

Swiatek was criticised for her US Open<\/a> defeat against Amanda Anisimova<\/a>, and she will be hoping to bounce back in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

A fitness update has been given on Swiatek<\/a> and it would appear that she is ready to go in Seoul as the Asian swing gets underway.<\/p>\n

There have been some very positive matches for Swiatek<\/a> this year, with none more emphatic than her display in the Wimbledon final.<\/p>\n

Swiatek has taken part in some blockbuster matches in 2025 and has claimed a Grand Slam title during the year. <\/p>\n

However, Fisette hasn\u2019t chosen the Wimbledon final as Swiatek\u2019s best, with the double bagel victory over Anisimova being overlooked for another match. <\/p>\n

He told Sport.PL<\/a>: \u201cThat\u2019s a tough question. Honestly, I think the match against (Elena) Rybakina in Cincinnati was definitely one of the best. <\/p>\n

\u201cIga served really well and returned well. She was very strong from the baseline on a surface that\u2019s definitely better for her opponent. She simply played great tennis.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe (Rybakina) played well too. It was a great match overall, I think that one is definitely up there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Swiatek match compared to Alcaraz and Sinner final<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to fathom that the coach of Swiatek doesn\u2019t think a 6-0, 6-0 win over a top-four player on the grandest stage of all is the best match she has played all year. <\/p>\n

But that\u2019s where Fisette is currently and he\u2019s shared why he believes that match has been overlooked by the semifinal she played against Rybakina in Cincinnati. <\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cThe Wimbledon final, on the other hand, was something\u2014as Carlos Alcaraz and his coach would put it after beating Jannick Sinner at the US Open\u2014a sort of \u201cperfect execution.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, the London final was just that\u2014\u201dperfect execution.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cIga served very well, returned very well, was effective from the baseline\u2014it was simply \u201cperfect execution.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cSo I must admit, the Wimbledon final was her best match for me, but the match against Rybakina in Cincinnati is among the very best.\u201d<\/p>\n
