The Australian has played just five singles matches on the ATP<\/a> Tour this season, with his most recent appearance coming at the Miami Open in March. <\/p>\n He has struggled with multiple injuries that have kept him out of action for a large portion of the last three years.<\/p>\n Aged 30, Kyrgios<\/a> still has time to capture an elusive Grand Slam title, but American tennis legend John McEnroe<\/a> thinks it might be too late. <\/p>\n On 6-Love-6<\/a>, McEnroe said of Kyrgios: \u201cI feel bad because I think after Carlos Alcaraz on the men\u2019s side, he is the most talented player. He is 30 years old now. I have to say, for me, it\u2019s a bit of a waste. It\u2019s too bad.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was so talented, but as athletes, we all have this fear of failure, this is my opinion, it\u2019s tough to deal with.<\/p>\n \u201cEveryone has their own issues. He has had his own issues. I have talked to him off the court; he\u2019s a good kid.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was in the Wimbledon final, and remember when Sue Barker did that interview and said \u2018this might inspire you to work harder\u2019. Oh God, no. He is a good commentator. He has got personality. He is good to have around the game. Kids like him. But you sort of wish he would play.\u201d<\/p>\n Former world number four Tim Henman<\/a> added: \u201cThere is mental, technical, and physical and the physical application.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHas he trained as hard as he could have done? And his body has perhaps let him down.
