To commemorate their anniversary, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/2025\/09\/15\/as-the-dallas-mavericks-turn-45-who-are-the-top-45-players-in-franchise-history\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/2025\/09\/15\/as-the-dallas-mavericks-turn-45-who-are-the-top-45-players-in-franchise-history\/\">we\u2019re ranking the top 45<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The list was created with input from Mavericks writer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/author\/brad-townsend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/author\/brad-townsend\/\">Brad Townsend<\/a> and columnist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/author\/kevin-sherrington\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/author\/kevin-sherrington\/\">Kevin Sherrington<\/a>. We\u2019ll reveal 10 players per day from Monday through Thursday and conclude Friday with the top five.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Only players who were with the Mavericks for at least two seasons were considered, so future Hall of Famers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/anthony-davis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/anthony-davis\/\">Anthony Davis<\/a> and Klay Thompson weren\u2019t eligible. Other factors include accomplishments, impact with the Mavericks, longevity, statistics and talent. The accolades listed are for their entire careers, not only in Dallas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Here are the players we ranked from No. 25 to No. 16.
