{"id":16546,"date":"2025-07-17T14:24:08","date_gmt":"2025-07-17T14:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/16546\/"},"modified":"2025-07-17T14:24:08","modified_gmt":"2025-07-17T14:24:08","slug":"wake-forest-mens-basketball-unveils-non-conference-schedule-for-2025-26-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/16546\/","title":{"rendered":"Wake Forest Men&#8217;s Basketball Unveils Non-Conference Schedule for 2025-26 Season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. &#8211; The Wake Forest men&#8217;s basketball program has unveiled a competitive non-conference slate for the 2025-26 season, as the Demon Deacons will host nine non-conference opponents inside LJVM Coliseum starting with the season opener against American on Monday, Nov. 3.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Deacs&#8217; home non-conference opponents include SEC foes Oklahoma (Dec. 2) and Vanderbilt (Dec. 21) along with contests against American, Morehead State (Nov. 7), UMass Lowell (Nov. 16), Campbell (Nov. 25), Northeastern (Nov. 28), Queens (Dec. 14) and Longwood (Dec. 17).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Away from Winston-Salem, Wake Forest will play <a href=\"https:\/\/godeacs.com\/news\/2025\/6\/4\/mens-basketball-2025-edition-of-wolverine-deacon-challenge-set-for-tuesday-nov-11-in-detroit\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">defending Big Ten Champion Michigan on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in Detroit to conclude the two-year Deacon-Wolverine Challenge<\/a>. With 13 ACC victories \u2013 tied for the most in a single season in school history and the second time in four seasons the Deacs have hit that mark \u2013 Wake Forest earned its highest regular-season finish since the 2008-09 campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Wake Forest matched the school record for road ACC victories with six and became the only ACC program to sweep the West Coast swing with victories at Stanford and Cal.
