WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest men’s basketball program has unveiled a competitive non-conference slate for the 2025-26 season, as the Demon Deacons will host nine non-conference opponents inside LJVM Coliseum starting with the season opener against American on Monday, Nov. 3.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Deacs’ home non-conference opponents include SEC foes Oklahoma (Dec. 2) and Vanderbilt (Dec. 21) along with contests against American, Morehead State (Nov. 7), UMass Lowell (Nov. 16), Campbell (Nov. 25), Northeastern (Nov. 28), Queens (Dec. 14) and Longwood (Dec. 17).\u00a0<\/p>\n
Away from Winston-Salem, Wake Forest will play defending Big Ten Champion Michigan on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in Detroit to conclude the two-year Deacon-Wolverine Challenge<\/a>. Later in the month, Wake Forest is set to participate in a stacked four-time field for the Baha Mar Championship<\/a>, beginning with a matchup against 2025 Elite Eight participant Texas Tech on Nov. 20 before facing either Purdue or Memphis, who both made the NCAA Tournament field last year, the next day.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Demon Deacons will also face West Virginia in a neutral site showdown in Charleston, W.Va., on Saturday, Dec. 6<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Between Michigan, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt, Texas Tech and West Virginia, Wake Forest’s confirmed Power Four non-conference foes went a combined 114-59 during the 2024-25 season while Purdue’s 116 victories over the last four years are the third-most nationally and Memphis’ 29 victories last year were most for the Tigers since the 2012-13 campaign.<\/p>\n Catch All Of The Home Action At LJVM Coliseum Season tickets for the 2025-26 season are on sale now<\/a> starting at just $195 (plus fees). Additionally, Wake Forest’s 29 home ACC wins and 72.5 home winning percentage over the last four seasons is tied for the fourth-most in the league.\u00a0 Wake Forest saw a resurgence in attendance numbers with 153,029 fans packing Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum during the 2024-25 season. This marked the highest total attendance since the 2014-15 season when Wake Forest hosted 174,336 fans. In 2024-25, the Demon Deacons earned 21 victories and the program’s first-ever double bye in the ACC Tournament. With 13 ACC victories \u2013 tied for the most in a single season in school history and the second time in four seasons the Deacs have hit that mark \u2013 Wake Forest earned its highest regular-season finish since the 2008-09 campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n Wake Forest matched the school record for road ACC victories with six and became the only ACC program to sweep the West Coast swing with victories at Stanford and Cal. Additionally, the Deacs set a new program record for ACC victories over a four-year span with 47 since the beginning of the 2021-22 campaign.
