Well, the first thing that gives a coin some credibility is simple: can you actually trade it without losing your shirt in the process? If a coin has low liquidity, even a small buy or sell order can move the price drastically, leaving investors stuck or paying more than they expected. No one wants that kind of drama. But liquidity is like having enough people at a party to make it feel alive, but not so crowded that you can\u2019t move.<\/p>\n

That can\u2019t be changed at all. But even so, consistency is what makes people believe in a project\u2019s staying power. That doesn\u2019t mean prices need to be stable every day, but it does mean activity needs to be steady.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But really, consistency also helps separate genuine projects from hype-driven coins (that meme coin <\/a>problem that was already mentioned earlier).
