\n\tSinger D4vd<\/a> has canceled the remaining dates of his U.S. tour amid an investigation into a dead body found in a car<\/a> registered to him.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe remaining dates on the singer\u2019s U.S. tour \u2014 a concert in Los Angeles Saturday and a scheduled appearance at the L.A. Grammy Museum on Sept. 24 \u2014\u00a0were quietly removed from those venue websites overnight on Thursday as the investigation intensified. Tickets for tonight\u2019s concert (Sept. 19) in San Francisco remained on sale as of Friday morning, although it seems unlikely the concert will take place; TMZ<\/a> reports the singer\u2019s team has decided to cancel all dates. A Wednesday concert in Seattle was called off earlier this week. <\/p>\n

\n\tTickets for D4vd\u2019s European tour, scheduled to begin in Norway on Oct. 1, remain on sale as well. <\/p>\n

\n\tLos Angeles Police Department officers were called to the Hollywood Tow yard on Sept. 8 to investigate a foul odor emanating from the car, which had been in the yard for some days. The police found a body, placed inside of a bag, in the front trunk of the Tesla registered to Burke at an address in Hempstead, Texas.<\/p>\n

\n\tRemains found inside a car were identified as those of a teenage girl named Celeste Rivas who had been missing since April 2024, per the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner office. She was reported missing on April 5, 2024, from Lake Elsinore, Calif. In the days since the discovery, unconfirmed photos have surfaced online of D4vd \u2014 real name David Anthony Burke, age 20 \u2014 with the victim. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe New York Times confirmed the vehicle had not been reported stolen. NBC News confirmed Burke was \u201cfully cooperating\u201d with authorities\u00a0upon discovery of his involvement, which is still under investigation.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 20-year-old entertainer was on his \u201cWithered\u201d North American tour when this news initially broke. The day after, he performed in Minneapolis without addressing the situation, but went on to cancel a show on Sept. 17 in Seattle.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe musician is best known for the singles \u201cHere With Me\u201d and \u201dRomantic Homicide,\u201d which each claim over a billion Spotify streams. The singer released his second studio album, \u201cWithered,\u201d in April, and released a new single, the \u201cfirst-ever official anthem\u201d for Fortnite<\/a>, earlier this month. Shortly after the discovery of the body was announced, Crocs and Hollister suspended their collaboration with the singer for their \u201cDream Drop\u201d campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tA deluxe version of the album scheduled to arrive on Sept. 19 has been postponed, according to reports. <\/p>\n
