Comedian Shane Gillis took a savage dig at Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick\u2019s 48-year age gap during his monologue at the ESPYs 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During the live award show at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles Wednesday, the former \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d star brought up the couple while discussing the gambling scandal<\/a> surrounding MLB star Shohei Ohtani\u2018s former interpreter.<\/p>\n

\u201cShohei is a once-in-a-generation talent. No one has been able to do what he does at so many positions: pitcher, hitter and bookie,\u201d he said. (A bookie is a person who determines gambling odds and receives and pays off bets.)<\/p>\n

\u201cA bookie is what Bill Belichick reads to his girlfriend before bedtime,\u201d Gillis quipped.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey do. They read \u2018The Very Horny Caterpillar,\u2019 \u2018The Little Engine That Could But Needed a Pill First,\u2019 and, of course, the classic \u2018Goodnight Boobs.’\u201d<\/p>\n

After the audience laughed, Gillis clarified that he wasn\u2019t \u201ctrashing\u201d the former New England Patriots coach.<\/p>\n

After the audience gave a mixed reaction, Gillis confessed that he should have cut that part of the joke. <\/p>\n
