The charity event will support Van Der Beek, 48, who\u00a0announced in 2024\u00a0that he was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was just about ready to break out of the wall,\u201d Humes told\u00a0Us Weekly<\/a>\u00a0in an interview published Tuesday. \u201cIt could\u2019ve been a terrible situation, but we caught it in time. My doctor said we dodged a bullet, and it was all because of early detection.\u201d<\/p>\n She added, \u201cCancers are survivable, but go out and get screened.
