During a new podcast interview with Marc Maron<\/a>, Conan O\u2019Brien<\/a> remembered the time he pulled a condom out of President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s pocket on air.<\/p>\n

Maron brought up the infamous moment during a bonus Wednesday episode of \u201cConan O\u2019Brien Needs a Friend.\u201d \u201cI remember one time I was on your show and I was the second guest after Trump,\u201d Maron recalled of his 1997 appearance on \u201cLate Night With Conan O\u2019Brien.\u201d \u201cI took a shot at him when he went out because it was an appearance where, for some reason, he was playing with a condom.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Brien quickly cut in.\u201dWhat happened was he was sitting next to me and we were talking and he\u2019s promoting \u2018The Apprentice,\u2019 I think,\u201d O\u2019Brien explained. \u201cI remember saying to him, \u2018So, you\u2019re a billionaire. How much money do you carry on you at any one time?\u2019 And he went, \u2018I don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t know.\u2019 [I said] \u2018Come on. How much money do you have in your pocket right now?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI reached over into his blazer pocket and felt something and he put his hand over my hand really quickly like, \u2018Don\u2019t pull that out,\u2019\u201d O\u2019Brien continued. \u201cWe had a quick tug of war and I pulled it out and it was a condom and he said, \u2018Safe sex everybody.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

According to O\u2019Brien, Trump was not happy about the interaction. \u201cIt was a real moment,\u201d the longtime late night host confirmed. \u201cAnd he was mad. He was like, \u2018I\u2019m not f\u2014king coming on this show again. Goddamn!\u2019 He told my producer, \u2018You don\u2019t reach into a guy\u2019s pocket,\u2019 and stuff like that. But then, you know, literally cut to three months later, \u2018Ladies and gentlemen: Donald Trump!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

For his part, Maron not only remembered the interview but also the joke he made afterward. \u201cI remember I came out and I said, \u2018Why is Donald Trump carrying his own condoms? Don\u2019t prostitutes usually have them with them?\u2019\u201d the \u201cStick\u201d star recounted. \u201cThen I said, \u2018I\u2019ll probably end up dead in the East River.\u2019\u201d In response, O\u2019Brien joked, \u201cStill could actually.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I brought it back up and [Trump will] be like, \u2018Oh, yeah. I remember that,\u2019\u201d Maron agreed. Laughing, O\u2019Brien asked, \u201cWhy are we rekindling this now? We\u2019ll be shot by snipers.\u201d<\/p>\n
