{"id":173104,"date":"2025-09-22T03:11:06","date_gmt":"2025-09-22T03:11:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/173104\/"},"modified":"2025-09-22T03:11:06","modified_gmt":"2025-09-22T03:11:06","slug":"massive-amur-tigers-ferocity-on-display-during-release-back-into-wild","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/173104\/","title":{"rendered":"Massive Amur tigers\u2019 ferocity on display during release back into wild"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Big Cat Project on Saturday shared footage of two Amur tigers reacting to their impending freedom with astonishing fury as their cage doors slid open.<\/p>\n<p>The footage, posted below, shows both tigers, in separate cages, swatting and biting the doors in a snarling display that underscores why the rehab team remained inside its vehicles during the release.<\/p>\n<p>The brother and sister Amur tigers were rehabbed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/amur-tiger.ru\/en?filter=all\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amur Tiger Center<\/a> in Russia. The footage was first shared by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/wildrussiantour\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bohai Tour Wildlife Adventures<\/a> in May. (It was not clear what required the cats to be captured and rehabbed.)<\/p>\n<p>On follower remarked, \u201cNow Imagine hiking around the area.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ftw.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/outdoors\/2025\/09\/12\/cheetahs-bullied-baby-warthog-video-south-africa-kruger\/86113478007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ALSO: Tourists in disbelief as cheetahs are &#8216;bullied&#8217; by baby warthog<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Amur tigers, or Siberian tigers, are the largest of tiger subspecies. They inhabit the forests of eastern Russia and northeastern China, and are well-adapted to exist in harsh winters.<\/p>\n<p>As formidable as they might seem, they\u2019re threatened by poaching and habitat loss.
