Sherri Shepherd is ready to sit down with Chris Brown.<\/p>\n
Following her interview <\/a>with Jonathan Majors in March, Shepherd, 58, revealed that Brown, 36, is the next legal-ridden star that she wants to have on her daytime talk show.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI would love to have\u00a0Chris Brown\u00a0on, but it\u2019ll be a lot of backlash,\u201d she said in an interview with Vulture<\/a> published Friday. <\/p>\n Sherri Shepherd hosting her daytime talk show. Getty Images<\/p>\n \u201cSometimes it comes with the territory,\u201d Shepherd continued. \u201cI was prepared for it with Jonathan.\u201d<\/p>\n Brown\u2019s legal woes began in 2009 when he was arrested and pleaded guilty to felony assault after\u00a0attacking his ex-girlfriend Rihanna<\/a>.<\/p>\n His controversial persona was explored in the 2024 Investigation Discovery docuseries \u201cChris Brown: A History of Violence,\u201d in which multiple women came forward and accused Brown of assault. ZUMAPRESS.com<\/p>\n Majors, for his part, was\u00a0arrested and charged<\/a>\u00a0in New York City in March 2023 following a dispute with his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. <\/p>\n The 36-year-old actor was\u00a0convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment<\/a>. He avoided jail time but was\u00a0sentenced to one year of domestic violence counseling<\/a>.<\/p>\n Majors\u2019 legal issues led to Marvel firing him\u00a0<\/a>from his role as Kang the Conqueror.<\/p>\n Jonathan Majors and Sherri Shepherd.
